Glitter, Music, and Sausage: A Weekend of Festivals

This past weekend was nothing short of magical for us at Mary Had a Little Glam. We had the incredible opportunity to be part of not one, but two amazing events. On Friday, we joined other traders at the Ibiza Orchestra Live, and on Saturday, we attended Sausage and Cider Festival - both at St Nicholas Park, Warwick. These two days were filled with music, amazing food, and of course, lots and lots of glitter!

Ibiza Orchestra Live:

Friday evening was all about the Ibiza Orchestra Live, and the atmosphere was incredible! The Ibiza Orchestra brought the legendary Ibiza club anthems to life with a full orchestra and vocalists, creating a unique and club-worthy musical experience. Our glitter artists got to work as soon as the first wave of people queued up, adding sparkle to festival-goers. From festival glitter to face gems, we had it all, and it was so good to be part of the evening.

Sausage and Cider Fest:

Saturday took us to a completely different event—the Sausage and Cider Festival. This festival had more of a laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere, and it was all about indulging in delicious food and sipping on refreshing cider. While the focus may have been on food and drinks, we obviously brought a touch of festival sparkle to the mix. Our glitter bar was buzzing with activity as festival-goers of all ages lined up to get their glitter fix. The amount of children that asked for glitter beards was amazing, especially 'spider man glitter beards'. We had absolutely no idea what this meant but apparently, they meant red and blue beards.

That being said, as the night went on, we had a lovely 80+ year old lady visit our stall to get her glitter done. She said "all of these young ones have it done, so why can't I?". We couldn't agree more! As we wrapped up nine hours of glittering fun at the Sausage and Cider Festival on Saturday, we couldn't help but reflect on how grateful we are to be part of such amazing events. Our glitter bar business isn't just about adding a bit of shimmer; it's about creating moments and unforgettable memories.

This weekend was a whirlwind of music, food, and glitter, and we loved every minute of it. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited our glitter bar over the weekend.
